The scrubber module has a washing zone and, depending on the model, one or two heat recovery zones through which the flue gases or process vapours are led. Condensate treatment has its own functional module, where the condensate is filtered and separated from solid matter according to the composition of the condensate generated.
Caligo scrubbers always have the entire unit pre-installed on the base, electrical and process automation ready, with independent Siemens logic and software. In addition to lifting the scrubber into place and making the connections, no installation time is required at the site.
The scrubber can also be equipped with its own equipment protection, a lye tank, a chimney or, for example, a sedimentation basin and chemical dosing equipment. Ask Caligo’s sales team for more options.
Heat pump connectible scrubber CSx HPC
Caligo’s heat pump connected scrubber CSx HPC can be recommended in cases where the basic scrubber is sufficient at the time of purchase, but where the return temperatures of the district heating network may rise in the future. The scrubber contains a reservation for a second heat recovery area and a heat pump connection (does not include the heat pump).
The dimensioning of the scrubber also takes into account the changes in the amount of water caused by connecting the heat pump. The solution also enables the scrubber and heat pump investments to be divided into different periods.
